Position: Blocker, Jammer, Pivot
Skating since: January 2009
Previous Leagues: Rainy City and Leeds Roller Dolls
Favourite skate gear: TSG Helmet, the only helmet that ever fit well and last as long as I wish to keep them, always have fun designs too.
Derby hero: All those skaters out there who despite their unbelievable talent and success remain consistent on and off track, no egos just pure talent.
Best moments: 2011 Team England – representing my country and my Gramps in the first ever Roller Derby World Cup
2012 – making the Team England v Team USA roster, getting to play with and against some of the best skaters in the World was phenomenal.
2014 – Team Ireland – representing my Nan.
2016 – First ever RollerCon challenge bout playing on Bebe’s Kids. What a baptism of fire, lining up with the likes of Black Jac, Erin Jackson, Freight Train and too
Origin of skate name: I think with my frizzy hair hair that always escaped my plaits I thought I always looked a bit feral, lol, the fairy just sounded alright.
Notable injuries: 2010 Broken ankle, pinned and plated, back on skates in 80 days, which I am still super proud off, still part bionic and hoping one day I can become an Agent of Shield.
Hobbies/interests outside roller derby: Urm…there is life outside of Roller Derby?!? Maybe watching Marvel movies and drinking, oh and eating, yes definitely eating!
